Tides of Change

I've been re-reading The Mercrutian Chronicles to prepare for Tides of Change and it's funny how sometimes you end up laughing at your own book. I'm not sure if other authors experience this, but I really do enjoy the funny bits. 💕 And, I truly hope that my readers do too!

Lately, laughter has been one of the joys of life that I want to embrace more and more. As I'm reading Blue Moon Rising today, each chapter makes me fall in love with my characters all over again. I remember why I wrote them the way that I did and I do get really invested in their stories and recall what else needs to be expressed for them.

It makes me hope that fans of the series forgive me for taking so long with this next book! 📖  I promise it will be worth the wait! And, I hope that readers understand how much I appreciate them. ðŸĐ· The fact that you read my writing is still pretty mind-blowing!

It also makes me want to double down on investing into writing more. I knew a long time ago that writing books would be one of my life purposes and so it's nice to come back to something that is so important to me. It's strange when an author's "writing mode" finally clicks in again after a while! It feels like an extreme sport. At least for me it definitely does! All of a sudden writing becomes a rush and I can't wait to get it all out onto the page.

I'm feeling pretty reflective today so don't mind my bubbly and wistful nature. I am kind of a mermaid afterall. ðŸĪŠ

Until next time!
